Summer swim season has officially started.

Thank you for supporting the Silver Linings Spring Show. The show was a huge success. Thank you to Lisa Long, owner of Silver Linings, for donating $1500 to our swim program. Mallard families, thank you for shopping & volunteering to make this such a successful event!

First Practice Today

Please note the practice times – I apologize for sending the wrong times in a previous email.

• 4:00 – 4:30 PM Ages 6 & under
• 4:30 – 5:30 PM Ages 7 – 10
• 5:30 – 6:30 PM Ages 11 & up

Please make sure you kids are prepared for practice EVERY time: arrive 5 – 10 minutes early, bring GOGGLES, swim cap (optional), and towel. Please have your child use the restroom BEFORE practice. Please have your children bring/wear their tennis shoes. If the pool is too cold for practice, the kids will have dryland practice. Practice updates will be distributed via Remind 101.

Remind 101

The Neely Mallards uses the application, Remind 101, to communicate all last minute updates. Please download the app from iTunes or Google Play. You will be able to customize how Remind sends you alerts; I suggest you allow text messaging. Swim practices can be cancelled last minute. This also allows us to update you about any weather issues during a swim meet. Please CLICK HERE for complete instructions.

Swimmer Code of Conduct

Each swimmer must sign the Neely Mallard Swimmer Code of Conduct. Parents please print out the contract and review with your kids. The form is attached. Please bring the signature page to practice this week. Your child will NOT be able to swim in a meet until the form has been submitted. If a board member is not at practice, please look for a box under the magnolia tree.

Coaching Staff

We have 8 amazing young ladies and gentlemen on our coaching staff this season. Coach Madison is leading the coaches again this year. We have 4 assistant coaches: Jon Hunt Ficken, Elizabeth Sacca, Grace Berg, and Charis Stanfield, and 3 junior coaches: Parker Bush, Peter Sacca, and Alex Whitesides. Mandatory Parent Meeting

We will have a parent meeting on Monday, May 22, in the clubhouse. There will be 2 meetings: 4:30 and 5:30. Please plan to attend.

Ladies Night Out

Some Moms have had a difficult time registering for the event, so please try this LINK. In order to have your item customized, please register by TONIGHT.

Team Pictures

Thank you to our sponsors, Day C Photography, our team pictures will be taken BEFORE our first HOME meet on Thu, May 31st. Please have your swimmer(s) at the pool by 3:45 PM. Individual and underwater pictures will be taken on Friday, Jun 15^th, during Fun Friday. Order forms will be available shortly.

Swim Team Volunteers

Our meet schedule has been set. We will have 3 home meets this season. Please CLICK HERE to volunteer. Our volunteer policy requires a member of each family to volunteer for 1 shift at EVERY meet that their child swims, plus 1 event. To read the entire volunteer policy, CLICK HERE .
