The Neely Swim Team is a neighborhood recreational swim program that is part of the Atlanta Swim Association (ASA). Our swimmers range in age from 4 to 18 years old, and our season is about eight weeks long. Practice begins in early-May and culminates at the end of June with the ASA Divisional meet at the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center.
Our goal is two-fold: introduce children to competitive swimming, and enhance each swimmer's technique and personal times in a fun environment. The coaching staff works on many aspects of competitive swimming, including stroke techniques, starts and turns.
We hope to strengthen our neighborhood community by creating a summer program that helps children become better swimmers, all while having a great time with new and old friends.
