2010 Summer Swim Team Registration
March 15th
It's finally here! Registration for the swim team will be held Sunday, March 28 from 4-6pm at the Neely Farm Clubhouse. Attached is a link with the forms that you will need to complete. DO NOT USE THE ONLINE REGISTRATION LINK on the website. If you do not require a swim suit and are returning to the team, you may complete the forms and return with payment directly to me. However, registration is also your chance to meet Kyle Hagen, our new Head Coach who will be joining us during this time to get acquainted with the team. Kyle comes to us with outstanding qualifications, valuable experience and I know that we will have a wonderful season.
Important facts:
If you have a young child considering joining the team, please know that they do not need to be able to swim the length of the pool to join us. Swim team is the best deal in town for swim lessons and all that's needed is a positive attitude. We've had swimmers as young as three years old join us and by the end of the season, they were swimming the full length of the pool in meets and at practice.
All swimmers must register with the league. This can be done at www.atlantaswimming.com. Please do this ASAP.
Swim suit fitting will be available during registration. Team suits are not mandatory -- green or black suits are fine -- but male swimmers do need jammers to swim most efficiently. Our arrangement with Kastaway provides very competitive pricing.
Swimmers ages 15-18 will have no cost to join our Mallards team other than the league registration. We are eager to have a good showing in the older age groups so please encourage swimmers to join the team. Practices are not obligatory -- we simply want their warm, swimming bodies for our meets.
If you have moved away or have children older than 18 and no longer eligible to swim, please contact me and I will remove you from the distribution list for the team.
