An additional opportunity to swim in a big meet
To All Swim Clubs, Teams, and Individual Swimmers:
It's time for the 2011 Georgia Games Championships! This year's competitions are going to be fun, exciting, and fresh! The Georgia Games is a legacy of the Olympic Games. This Olympic-style event fosters a healthy lifestyle through sports and provides the opportunity for Georgians of all ages to participate in the thrilling experience of athletic competition.
The Youth & Adult Swimming Competition is scheduled to be held on June 18th, 2011 at the Cobb County Aquatic Center. We encourage everyone to participate at this meet because of what it can offer. For those who will qualify and swim in the county and state championships, this swim meet offers an opportunity to swim in a pool with blocks, touch pads and the feel of a championship meet. These events promise to be challenging and rewarding for all of its participants, as well as a wonderful time to meet new people in the sport.
I have attached the registration form for the event. The registration form also includes more information about the Georgia Games, our mission, and the specifics of the events. Also, if you have friends or family who want to participate in the sport but are not interested in the athletic aspects, we have plenty of volunteer opportunities here at the Games.
If you would like more information, or if you have questions or concerns, please contact me. Thank you so much for your time and attention, and I look forward to working with you all in our efforts toward a happier and more active America.
Sincerely,
Ashley Marion
