Weekly Newsletter & Schedule

The excitement continues as we keep improving our times each week.  This week the girls had 46% personal best times, the boys had 41% personal best times, and as a team we had 41% personal best times.  I could not be more proud of the effort each swimmer puts into the meet each week.  This is all done at practice by the focus and determination of our swimmers through the workouts and stroke work training.

I want to make the last meet one to remember.  Let’s bring a tons of team spirit by everyone wearing our swim team t-shirts, cheering for all swimmers, and motivating our swimmers to swim fast.  It will be our last dual meet until next summer, which is 365 days from now.  Our spirit, cheers, swims, and fun must last a year.

I can’t believe this Tuesday is our last dual meet of the season and this weekend is our championship meet.  Wow, the fun is about to end, but wait… I am working on a schedule for swim practice through July.  Please be on the lookout for an email with the July practice schedule and details.

I can’t let our excitement end this week, I have to keep it going through July.  This excitement is fueled by the swimmers as a parent at the stroke clinic on Saturday said, “My kids chose the swim clinic over karate.”  The stroke clinics went so well that we always had to use 6 lanes.  Let’s see if we can’t do this at all of the July practices.  If you are in town, then I hope to see you at these practices and bring friends that are not on the team now to these practices as well.
