Week of July1, 2014

Neely Farm Family,

We hope everyone had a happy 4th of July. Congratulations to our Neely Farm Mallards on a very successful 2014 summer league season. We had a very busy last week of the season with three swim meets and our end-of-season swim team recognition party. We finished the season with three wins and two losses, our second consecutive winning season and good for a tie for the third place dual meet trophy in our division! You can see it in the clubhouse!

Once again, we cannot thank you enough for all your volunteer efforts this summer. It takes over 50 volunteers to run a meet and you all did an amazing job every week! A special shout out to our junior coaches, Carlo Cabibi, Nick Syiek, Grant Beatty, Harrison Feininger, and Rachel Berg, for a great job this season! Finally, thank you for your cards, notes, and gifts at the season ending party. They are very much appreciated by all the coaches!

Here's a recap of the last week of the season:

  • Swim team party and recognition
  • Woodfield meet recap
  • ASA Divisional meet recap
  • ASA Championship recap
  • Private swim lessons

Swim team party and recognition

We had most of the team show up for our celebration on Saturday, June 28. We handed out trophies and ribbons to everyone and had a so much food and desserts everywhere. It's so hard to believe the season is over. Your coaches truly enjoyed working with our swimmers - what a great bunch of kids. We're hoping we can do it all over again in 10 months or so!

Congratulations to our 2014 season award winners:
