Team, 

We are so excited about our first meet this week...let's hope the weather warms up and the sun comes out! Please read this entire email. 

A few things for this week: 

TIME - Please plan to arrive between 4:00 and 4:15. This will allow us to get settled in our bull pen, write on the kids arms (who weren't at practice) and get ready for our 4:30 warm up. 

THEME - I love doing a poster contest for our first meet, but considering the weather, let's hold off. This week's theme will be HAWAIIAN NIGHT...so start getting your accessories ready! We will have a "best dressed" for the kids and they will earn a prize on Friday morning. We will explain to the kids, but make sure that they "check in" with a coach before they take off their costume to get in the pool! 

We love to have parents participate in our theme too...so you guys need to get ready too! :) 

Lineup - Parents, please know that we took into consideration stroke preference, stroke evaluations, times from last year and our own observations during practice to put together a lineup this week. It certainly won't be perfect and as we get to know these kids better, we will adjust and get better....BUT, please do not ask for changes this week. We feel very confident in our choices for this week. If you have questions, please email me, but DO NOT MAKE CHANGES FOR YOUR CHILD. The lineup is already "set in stone" and we cannot make changes to it! Thank you for understanding. They cannot change relays or individual events. 

However, please notify me immediately if your child is entered and they should not be OR they should be entered and they are not. 

Lastly, if your child gets sick last minute or something comes up, please notify me via text or email ASAP. I can make changes for illness and extreme circumstances, but only if I know in advance. Text is the quickest way to communicate with me....so store my number! :)

Lastly, we have 71 kids who have RSVP'd that they will be joining us Friday morning for breakfast from JR's at the pool.  We have a fun few days ahead!
