Parents,

As we wrap up our second week of practices I'd like to remind you all that afternoon practices continue next week, Monday through Thursday.  We are off to a great start and the kids seem to be enjoying themselves and braving the cool water. We are sending out a last call for any individuals or companies that are interested in sponsoring the Neely Mallards.  Our deadline for sponsorships is Friday, May 27.   Also, be sure to check out our calendar on the website for upcoming events and to RSVP for meet attendance and volunteer positions. 

On anther note, it has come to my attention that the women's restroom smells horrible.  I have been told by the HOA that an animal has died in the wall and that we have to wait it out for the smell to resolve.   Also, I regret to report that due to a construction issue with the new pool deck, the installation of our starting blocks is delayed.  We very much hope that the HOA has this issue resolved quickly so that our swimmers can start to practice diving.  Please continue to let me know of any questions or concerns.  Your feedback is what helps keep our team growing and improving.  I hope you all enjoy what is, for many, the last weekend before school ends!
