The kids did great at Distance Day! It's hard to believe we are almost halfway through the season. There's a lot going on this week, so please read the entire email.

Team Dinner at JR's Log House

Volunteers

The volunteer roster for Thursday's meet is full...YAY!???? Thank you!! 

If you are working the bullpen this week, please tell your swimmers to RETURN TO THE BULLPEN after their swims, AND to let you know where they're going if they leave the bullpen. This (somewhat) alleviates having to chase them for their events.  We generally stage swimmers seven events ahead, BUT we skip the 13-14 and 15 & Up age groups because they can get to the staging area on their own. For all events, please remind your swimmers of what they are swimming (and of two handed touches on the breaststroke and butterfly), and for the relays, please put your swimmers in the order they are swimming.

If you AREN'T working the bullpen, and your swimmer chooses to sit with you during the meet, YOU are responsible for getting your swimmer to the staging area on time!

Distance Day Makeup

Due to weather, the #gothedistance makeup will be during the Wednesday afternoon practice.  All age groups will begin swimming at 4:30.

Third Meet

  • Neely Mallards at The Falls at Autry Mills

  • 4:30pm -- Swimmer & Volunteer Check-in
  • 5:30pm -- Meet begins
  • Post Meet Celebration at Bruster's Ice Cream (Barnwell & Holcomb Bridge)

Team and Individual Pictures

Please wear your team suit and/or team shirt to Fun Friday. We will be taking the team photo BEFORE doughnuts. Individual pictures will be taken in the deep-end of the pool after doughnuts. You can have posed, action or underwater photos taken. Please review the attached documents for pricing.

Stroke Clinic

The stroke this week is BACKSTROKE. Thank you to the Creels for assisting with stroke clinic on Saturdays. Because of the extra coaches, we are able to offer stroke clinic to ALL ages beginning at 9:00am. We will not be dividing by age group.

Mallards Support HOPE4DV

We would like to help you clean out your closets. The Neely Mallards Swim Team is supporting the HOPE4DV -- Hope for Domestic Violence by providing gently used or new clothes. All clothing must be CLEAN and folded into boxes or shopping bags. Please bring your donations to the clubhouse on Friday, June 23rd, at 9:30am.
