Hello Mallard Parents,

We will see you at The Falls at Autry Mill (9825 Autry Falls Dr) tonight at 4:30pm.  If you have last minute sickness, please call or text Coach Madison at 740-816-1881.   Our bullpen will be in the same area.  If you have to park on the street, remember to only park; please respect the "NO PARKING" signs. Please make sure you have registered for REMIND. Any updates for tonight will go out via REMIND. I've attached instructions.

Inclement Weather:  Today seems like a good day to review the Inclement Weather policy.  If we can at least start the meet it gives us a lot more options than if we don't start.  We can only postpone for a max of about 45 minutes, and the home team will have prepared a lot of food, so please be patient - AND BE SAFE. The Falls at Autry Mill has a large clubhouse or you can wait in your car, but please don't leave. 

From the ASA rulebook:

• "Every effort must be made to swim each meet as scheduled.  In the event of inclement weather, each team must show up at the pool on time.  If at 5:30 the weather still precludes the meet from starting the two team representatives, two head coaches and starter will meet and decide whether to postpone or reschedule the meet." . . . "IF the meet is delayed more than 30 minutes  . . ." you can ". . . agree to delay an additional 15 minutes, OR Agree to reschedule, OR agree to a tie . . ." .  We can only agree to a tie if we actually start the meet.

Rescheduling a meet is tough - it requires really, really fast RSVP's from swimmers so please be prepared for a flurry of emails and to respond quickly if we have to postpone.
