Season Wrap Up & Survey
Hello Mallard Parents,
Thank you for a great season! We started the season moving up to a harder (perhaps hardest) division, we had a new coach who had not previously coached in our league and a new team president, but things were really clicking at the end of the year, including a nice upset win against Martins Landing. Despite moving up to a harder division, we still finished 6th out of 28 teams in the Divisional qualifying round at Georgia Tech and improved from 43rd to 37th at the Championship meet. My hope is that your kids are stronger, made new or rekindled old friendships, and had a good time. Here's our season broken down to the numbers:
- .600 season (3 wins, 2 losses)
- 3rd in the division (regular season)
- 112 Mallard swimmers
- 22 swimmers qualified for the ASA Championship Finals
- 8 social events: 3 Team dinners, Kick-off breakfast, dip dye, philanthropy Friday, Movie Night, Banquet
- $1500 raised from our Silver Linings Spring Gift Show
- $2100 in corporate sponsorships (Neely Farm HOA, Zurn Plumbing, Dwell Remodeling, Kelly Ryan Luxury Properties Group, PracticeAdmin, Eric Christ, City Council,
- $1700 In-kind sponsorships (JR's Loghouse, CPK, Nemoe's, Riverside Pizza, Super Mercado Jalisco, Imagine Adv)
We need your help to improve our summer swim team for 2018. Please take 10 minutes to complete our swim team survey. Click here for the survey. Your responses will be anonymous. With that said, the purpose of the survey is to collect constructive criticism and suggestions for improvement. We appreciate all your suggestions for improvement!
The survey will be available until July 21st.
Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey. Enjoy the rest of your summer!
Go Mallards!
Beth
