Last night's meet results --> UNDEFEATED

Hi!

Thank you for all your help with the meet on Tuesday and throughout this season! We all played a part in being UNDEFEATED this season :)

Real quick: If you and your swimmer(s) would like to participate in a 200 Medley family relay, please email Coach Carley at [email protected]. If only you or your child wants to participate, but not both, you can tell Carley that you would like to join Coach Mia's extended family relay.

We also celebrated our seniors last night. Please congratulate these graduates and their parents: Emilia Youngman, Andrew Cassar, Tobin Hughes, and Stephen Woodrough. They are such a helpful and caring group of seniors. I am so excited to see all that they will accomplish.

Additionally, our ducklings swam in their first meet! They all jumped into the deep end and swam down a whole lap of the pool. We are excited for these ducklings to swim in all of our meets next summer.

Attached are the meet results from yesterday’s meet against Glastonberry WITH our 76 IMPROVED SWIMS. We won: 480-313. The official and I didn’t catch any DQs!!! That’s actually amazing!

Attached below is the heat sheet and personal best times in PDF form.

Our costume winners for the USA theme was Talia and Morgan!

Below are our hardworking, noteworthy swimmers of the week:

Swimmer of the week

6&u girl

Caroline

This girl comes to camp practice each week and she always brings a sweet smile and enthusiasm after a long day of camp! She is kind and respectful and tries her hardest in all her races!

6&u boy

Gideon

This boy tries really hard in practice each week and we’ve seen all his improvement! He is competitive and works hard to win! And last night we moved him up to the 7/8 boys relay and even tho he was a little nervous he got in there and crushed it!

7/8 girl

Marian

This young girl embodies what it means to be swimmer of the week! She is 7 years old but every week this season she has swam up with the 11/12s practice and been working her absolute hardest to improve! We know we can put this girl in any event and trust she will leave everything she has in the pool and swim it beautifully each time! She is kind, respectful and incredibly humble! we have loved getting to watch her grow up on this team and watch her race each week!

7/8 boy

William

This boy has camp every week but he doesn’t let that stop him from coming early for camp practice or coming to afternoons after long days of camp! No matter what this boy will always bring his energy! He has been working on his breast stroke all season to get it legal and last night he not only swam it for the first time in a meet but he is the reason we got a full sweep in that event! He also swam up for us in the 11/12 relay last night and he crushed it!

9/10 girl

Genevieve

This is her first season on our team and each week we have watched her work her absolute hardest to improve! She always listens and is respectful to all the coaches and her teammate! She has learned every stroke this season and swims them legally and beautifully especially breaststroke!!

9/10 boy

Alex

This boy has been working really hard in practices and takes the feedback we give him to heart! He always listens when we tell him to do something and is respectful and kind in the way he carries himself!

He swims up in the relays for us a lot but last night we had to move him up to the 15/18s relay and when the older boys told him to wear a silly hat he swam with it on for the whole 50 with a smile on his face!

11/12 girl

Cameron Jane

This girl is so selfless and always asks how she can help out the coaches! She is always respectful, incredibly humble, and brings her positive energy to practice every day! She never complains, works hard in practice and always asks how she can improve and takes our feedback to heart! And last night she asked me for tips on her 100 free and she not only crushed it but dropped 7 second and we are so proud of her!

11/12 boy

John

Even though this boy can’t come to all the practices because he lives so far away he is still very dedicated to this team and he works hard outside the pool in order to improve! He has helped us win many events for our team and we are so thankful to have had him for another season!

13 & u girl

Darcy

This girl has been working incredibly hard in practice and she gives everything her all. She swam her hardest in the meet last night and she never complains in practice. She takes all the feedback that the coaches give her to heart in order to improve.

13 & u boy

John Paul

This boy brings passion to every practice and meet and never backs down from a competition he is respectful and we can always count on him to make you laugh and he helped us last night when we were down a coach and helped make sure all the kids were where they needed to be!
