Hello everyone!

Thank you to everyone who made it to Jason’s Deli Spirit Night! It's always fun to see everyone dry and loading up on carbs the day before a meet.

Today's away meet is against the Double Gate. Please remind our swimmers EVEN THOUGH IT SHOULD BE A CLOSE MEET, our team goals are the following: 1) Improve our swimming (therefore, swim the strokes properly!),2) have fun, and 3) be a good teammate! Also, please make sure your child arrives by 4:30 PM in their BLACK team shirt. More details about the meet below:

I have attached the heat sheet, athlete check-in, and Swimtopia Mobile info. The Swimtopia Mobile app is great since it gives you live results AND RELAY CHANGES. I highly encourage you to use it rather than printing the heat sheet. Also, RELAYS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE. I may change the relays as late as right before the relay to ensure the relay is the best combination for the team and to ensure no DQs. SEE MY LAST EMAIL ABOUT WHY KIDS ARE SWIMMING UP THIS MEET. 

THURSDAY 6/20 - AWAY MEET AT DOUBLEGATE

• Time: Arrive at 4:30; Warmup at 5:00, Meet starts at 5:30
• Address: 9880 Twingate Drive, Johns Creek GA 30022
• Theme: Book/movie character
• Attendance - If your swimmer's attendance status changes before the meet, please let a coach know ASAP.

• Parking: Limited parking is available at the pool/tennis area. Street parking is available on the pool side.
• Team location: Our team will be on the side by the diving boards. There is limited seating, so please bring camping chairs.
• Concessions: CASH ONLY. Pizza and walking tacos along with chips, candy and drinks (water, gatorade, soda).

REMINDERS ABOUT OUR LAST WEEK OF SWIM TEAM:

• Our last meet will be HOME on TUESDAY - Please check your RSVP and VOLUNTEER status since we have a quick turnaround.
• Since our meet is on Tuesday, we will have WACKY WEDNESDAY (instead of Fun Friday) to eat donuts, receive ribbons and awards from Tuesday's meet.
• THURSDAY - ASA CHAMPIONSHIP (see information that was emailed on 6/14 repeated below)
• FRIDAY - SWIM TEAM BANQUET - 6:00-8:00pm This year, we will have Ippolito's catered and Heavies Bakery cookies! Please RSVP here

ASA Championship - Thursday, June 27 at 4:00pm - at Georgia Tech

If you’re new to the swim team, this is the last (optional) meet of the season which takes place at Georgia Tech. It’s a really cool event if your kids have never experienced it before. Last year, we placed 4th out of 17 teams! The more athletes we have, the more events we can enter, so hoping everyone will join the fun!

Timing:

• Meet Time: 4:00 pm - probably 8:00 pm
• Arrival Time: 2:00 pm (warm ups begin at 2:30pm)

Price: $24/swimmer

• The total cost is $48/swimmer, but we are asking everyone to only pay half. If you choose not to show up, you will be charged the full amount. Please RSVP below and pay HERE.

Volunteers: The exact number and jobs are TBD right now, but please sign up for a job when you RSVP if you’re willing to help that day.

Unfortunately, no late entries are allowed and the fees are non-refundable. Yes, we will send you a reminder, but the ASA is strict on timing when there are 100+ teams involved!

We would love for you to join us, so feel free to ask us or a coach if you have questions we didn’t cover.
