CCS Meet Results

Hi!

Thank you for all your help with the meet yesterday. Here are the meet results from yesterday’s meet against Country Club of the South with our 76 IMPROVED SWIMS highlighted and DQs STARRED. We also won: 326-455. The official did not DQ anyone but these are the things that should have been DQed. The goal is to fix our strokes so that we do not get DQed in the future: https://photos.app.goo.gl/ofuHPreuodZnMd7o8

Attached below is the heat sheet and personal best times in PDF form.

We greatly improved in finishing backstroke on our back and touching with two hands on breaststroke and butterfly. We need to work on scooping to our chin our breaststroke instead of scooping to our belly buttons and doing the correct kick for breaststroke and butterfly. We need to do breaststroke kick on breaststroke and butterfly kick during butterfly (verses freestyle kick on either).

Stroke clinic on Saturday from 9-10 AM will focus on dives, breakouts, and flipturns.

Our costume winner for the superhero theme was Eliza! Next week’s theme has been changed to TWINS!

This week's coach of the week not only coach's but swims with the 13+ and if you've never had to swim in that practice you don't know how to be tired. This coach encourages us to do our best and stays after to teach us how not to be DQed.
