Hi Everyone -

In less than a week, your kids will be swimming! Hopefully the weather will cooperate next week. In case you missed last week's Parent Meeting, attached are the documents we reviewed. Below are the highlights, so everyone is prepared for our first practice on Monday, May 6th. 

• REMIND App - Download the REMIND App and join Class Code @2024nee (Neely Farm Swim Team). This is the only way Coach Mia will communicate if practice is cancelled or changed. Please do this today, so you aren't texting me on Monday.
• TEAM SUITS - If you're interested in purchasing a team suit, click HERE to purchase from our partner, Reddiset. These suits are slightly different than last year, but it's still a black suit with a gold Neely Farm logo. If you aren't purchasing a team suit, please purchase a snug fitting black Speedo type suit for your child. Any one piece swimsuit for girls and regular swimsuits for boys can be worn to practice. Ducklings do not need a team suit.
• SCHEDULE - Practices start on Monday, May 6th, so check HERE to see when your child will practice. Robyn Eder created the helpful attachments, so you can hang these on your wall and your kids don't have to ask you when practice is every day. Practice times vary by age, so be sure to check your kids' age group in Swimtopia (especially for kids with May birthdays). 
  •  Log in ->My Account ->Child's Name ->2024 Season (age group will be listed in green on the right side)
• JOBS/VOLUNTEER ROLES - Sign ups are open! You can sign up for your jobs by clicking on the green Job Sign Up buttons HERE. Elizabeth Magee shared some helpful information on what each role does, so email Elizabeth if you have any questions on Jobs. Everyone is required to sign up to help if your child is attending the meet. We will assign jobs if volunteer roles aren't filled by each meet's sign up deadline. 
• SPIRIT WEAR - I am sending a separate email with this information. All swimmers (including Ducklings) will receive a team shirt and swim cap before the Mock Meet on Thursday, May 23.
