Hello Mallard Family,

We are halfway through the season already. This Thursday will be our LAST HOME meet this season. Thank you to all the parents for stepping in & helping at the meet last Thursday. I’m sorry that I could not be there, but my daughter had been running a fever for 3 days straight.

Since this is our LAST home meet, it will be a big meet. Please read the email completely:

• Ducklings Exhibition: Our ducklings have been practicing for 3 weeks. They will have their exhibition swim before our home meet begins. The ducklings will swim at 4:55pm.
• Senior Night @ HOME meet: Congratulations to our graduated Seniors. We will recognize our seniors after the Ducklings swim at @ 5:10 PM.
• RSVP: Please remember to RSVP your swimmer. Please review the list below. The RSVP will close tonight at 10:00 PM.
• Volunteers: We are still short 12 volunteer shifts. It really takes a village to run a swim meet. We cannot have a successful meet without our parents. Remember, if your child is swimming, each parent must volunteer for at least 1 shift.
• Theme: Americas

Please have your kids at the pool by 4:30 PM. Please make sure to visit the Swimmer & Volunteer Check-in. The theme for this meet is the ZOO. A small prize will be given to the best dressed boy and girl. Please instruct your kids, they are not permitted in the baby pool or on the playground. They will need to stay in our designated area (the grassy area by the grills).

Team Dinner @ California Pizza Kitchen at the Forum

Thank you to JR’s Log House for sponsoring our Mighty Mallards! Our team dinner will be this Wednesday between 5 and 7 PM. Remember, we have afternoon practices from 4:35 – 5:30 PM. We will be seated in a designated area, so please tell them you are with the swim team.

Stroke Clinic

The stroke clinic will be this Saturday. We will focus on the Backstroke. All ages will begin at 9 AM.

End of the Year Banquet – Friday, June 29^th: Please RSVP you and your family for the End of the Year Banquet so we can be beginning planning for main entrée. The swim team will provide the main entrée and each family will be asked to bring something. A Sign-up Genius will be emailed out, so you can sign up to bring a dish or drinks to share. The banquet will be from 6 – 8:30 PM.

ASA Divisional – Thursday, June 28^th: The last meet of the season will be held at Georgia Tech. This is a great experience for your kids to swim in an Olympic pool. The meet will start at 3:00 PM and finish about 6:30 PM. Afterwards, we will have a team dinner at Babalu’s Tacos & Tapas. Please RSVP now. We will need to submit entries next week. Any late entries will cost you $25 per event payable to the Atlanta Swimming Association.

To order a team picture or individual picture, please CLICK HERE to go the the DayC Photography website. To view the team photo proofs, click “proofs on line” under the pictures, then click the first picture ( the one of gymnastics) which is sports. Enter your email and the access code swim2018 (all lowercase no spaces). The pictures are in folders and include last years pictures too.
