Hello Mallard Family,

This is our first week of AM practices! The weather does not look very promising for the week, so please make sure you have signed up on REMIND. Please read the REMIND email/text very carefully. There have been several occasions where one age group practice was cancelled but anther wasn’t. CLICK HERE to for REMIND instructions.

Cancellation Policy

There is a 30-minute delay for thunder and/or lightning for both practices and meets. If there is light rain only, meet/practice will proceed – so long as we can see the bottom of the pool. If there is lighting, the pool deck must be cleared. You will be asked to go in the clubhouse, under the breezeway or in your car to wait. Once a decision is made, Coach Madison will send out a REMIND text/email.

First Meet - HOME

Our first meet is this Thursday. Please have your kids at the pool by 4:00 PM. Please make sure to visit the Swimmer & Volunteer Check-in under the breezeway (across from the pool entrance). The theme for this meet is the DECADES (60s, 70s, 80s, etc). A small prize will be given to the best dressed boy and girl.

Please instruct your kids, they are not permitted in the baby pool or on the playground. They will need to stay in our designated area (the grassy area by the grills). You may want to bring a quiet activity (legos, coloring, cards, games, beads, etc) for your kids to do while they wait for their events. You may also want to bring a chair or extra towel to keep on the grass.

Please note, the baby pool will be closed during all swim meets. 

Kickoff Breakfast – last day to RSVP

We will eat first and then do ribbons. Our annual kick off breakfast will be in the breezeway this Friday, June 1^st , at 9:30 AM. Please RSVP so we order enough food. Please remember, food is for the KIDS only. If you do not RSVP, you may not be able to eat.

Mallard at White Water – Tue is the Last day to RSVP

Please join us for a MALLARD DAY at Six Flags Whitewater on Sunday, June 10th. The park is open from 10:30 AM to 7 PM.

We will purchase group tickets @ $30 per person. You will need to RSVP and pay for your ticket in advance. If you have season tickets, you do NOT need to RSVP/purchase group tickets. You can either pay online via WePay or pay be check. Please CLICK HERE for instructions to pay by check. . If you purchase a ticket and cannot attend, your ticket is valid through the entire summer. We will not be refunding any tickets. This is not a drop-off event. Parents, you are responsible for kids; this is a family event.

Afternoon Practices

Afternoon practices begin this Wednesday; they are open to all kids who have camp in the morning or would prefer to attend the evening practice. All age groups will practice 4:30 – 5:30 PM. Afternoon practices will be held every Monday and Wednesday until June 27^th.

Stroke Clinic

Our first stroke clinic will be this Saturday. We will focus on the Butterfly stroke. Ages 10 and under will practice 9 – 9:30 AM; ages 11 and up will practice 9:30 – 10 AM.
