Hello Mallard families,

We have had a few issues come up during practice, so I wanted to remind you of a few rules. 

• The Neely Farm Pool Rules require parents to supervise any kids 12 & Under at the pool when there is not a lifeguard on duty. The coaches cannot be responsible for kids swimming or playing on deck outside their scheduled practice. If your child is in the pool, but it’s not their practice time, a parent must be watching. 
• The Neely Farm Playground Rules state the all kids(12 & Under) must be supervised on the playground. Please understand that the coaches cannot be responsible for your children while they are on the playground, tennis courts or basketball field – Parents do NOT leave your kids 12 and younger without parental supervision. 
• The Coaches must give their full attention to the kids during their practice.

Mock Meet

Please RSVP by today at 5 PM for the mock meet. Please mark your calendar for our Mock Meet on Thursday, May 24^th. Set up will be at 4:00; the meet will begin at 4:30. Every swimmer will swim the short free, back, breast and fly events, so we can have times on everyone for the first meet. I’ve listed the swimmers currently registered for the swim meet.

Swimmer Code of Conduct

Each swimmer must sign the Neely Mallard Swimmer Code of Conduct. Parents please print out the contract and review with your kids. The form is attached. Please bring the signature page to practice this week. Your child will NOT be able to swim in a meet until the form has been submitted. If a board member is not at practice, please look for a box under the magnolia tree.

Mandatory Parent Meeting

We will have a parent meeting on Tuesday, May 22, in the clubhouse. There will be 2 meetings: 4:30 and 5:30. Please plan to attend.

First Meet @ Home

It’s hard to believe our first meet is next week. Please RSVP, either Yes or No, for the meet next Thursday, May 31^st. CLICK HERE to RSVP. We will have TEAM PICTURES BEFORE the meet. Please arrive at the pool by 3:45. We will plan the swim meet based on the RSVPs. If you do not RSVP by Sunday, May 27^th, your child will not be able to swim in the meet. We still have volunteer openings. Remember, if you child is swimming, you are required to volunteer.

Pictures – Team & Individual

Team pictures will be at 3:45 PM on Thursday, June 7^th – before our first home meet. We will have individual & underwater pictures taken the following morning, June 8^th, during Fun Friday. I’ve attached a sample individual pictures: posed and underwater picture. Order form is attached. To manage time, please CLICK HERE to RSVP for Individual pictures.

JR’s Log House Kick Off Breakfast – please RSVP

We will have our annual kick off breakfast in the breezeway of our pool on Friday, June 1^st. Please RSVP so we order enough food. Please remember, food is for the KIDS only. If you do not RSVP, you may not be able to eat.

Mallards @ White Water

Please join us for a MALLARD DAY at Six Flags Whitewater on Sunday, June 10th. The park is open from 10:30 AM to 7 PM.

We will purchase group tickets @ $30 per person. You will need to RSVP and pay for your ticket in advance. If you have season tickets, you do NOT need to RSVP/purchase group tickets. You can either pay online via WePay or pay be check. Please CLICK HERE for instructions to pay by check. The cutoff to purchase tickets is May 25th. If you purchase a ticket and cannot attend, your ticket is valid through the entire summer. We will not be refunding any tickets. This is not a drop-off event. Parents, you are responsible for kids; this is a family event.

Team Pictures

Thank you to our sponsor, Day C Photography, our team pictures will be taken BEFORE our first HOME meet on Thu, May 31st. Please have your swimmer(s) at the pool by 3:45 PM. Individual and underwater pictures will be taken on Friday, Jun 15^th, during Fun Friday. Order forms will be available shortly.

Volunteers Needed

Please volunteer NOW for ALL of the meets. It will assist us with the planning process. We are have several volunteer positions open at the FIRST home meet. Please CLICK HERE to volunteer.
